Our Arrival in Lusaka

Michelle and I landed in Lusaka on June 22nd. Our arrival marked the end of a crazy month of traveling between Atlanta, Kankakee, Chicago, Davenport, Seattle and London. Over the two and a half weeks in Illinois, we got to celebrate 5 birthdays, go to the stock car races twice, watch the white sox get beat at Comiskey, catch a crazed bat in Michelle's bedroom, two trips to the pier in one day, and a bonfire at the river. Good times. More pictures to come.

On June 14th, we left for Seattle where we had 4 days to cram as much in as possible. Discovery Park, a few different bars, chateau Egli, and a round of horrible golf in which friends (Andy) admitted that my game mentally brought them down. I can't remember my score but I think it's a sanctioned weight class in Illinoin High School Athletics. Maybe more pictures to come.

On June 17th, we arrived in London where we had 2 days to cram as much in as possible. Buckingham Palace (where we asked where BP was while standing in front of it), Avenue Q, Dinner at Sheeke (sp?) (with Woody Allen...whom Michelle ran into on the way to the bathroom), no big ben or parliament. We got to hang out with Gabe and Rob (friends from Seattle). They graciously made room for us and our 6 bags of luggage. Thanks Gabe and Rob (and your friend Jean (sp?) for showing us most of the city in a jet-lagged 48 hours. We plan to see the rest on our way back to the states... More pictures soon.
