Good times, bad times...
43 minutes round trip - The to/from time to work today. Now that we drive in its fun (in that commuting sort of way) to find the fastest route or the best time to leave in the morning. Today was a good day. Michelle always thinks its better to leave a little bit later. 8:07 worked well today.
10 months - The amount of time that's past since my cousin Brooke posted this blog and pictures. Clubb's Blog. It was a neat picture to come across on-line while listening to the cubs game. I sadly had trouble picking out all the faces. Crazy to think that these kids are all 10 months older now. Looking forward to seeing many of them next month.
Not to Exceed 2 Years - The new potential prison term for smoking in public in Zambia. "Public" has not been clearly defined yet... The same country doesn't seem to punish running red lights (but does punish making a left on red...we're driving on the left). The prison term might accompany a 4 million kwacha fine ($500).
88 Minutes - There are some movies that go "straight to video" and there are others that must go "straight to Africa" and those are the ones that end up at the Lusaka Sternikor Theater. Al Pacino was a saving grace of sorts...but Michelle told me the ending well before we were 88 minutes into it.
31 Years - Michelle's age as of tomorrow - 31st May. Happy Golden Birthday Michelle. This is the first of 3 Golden Birthdays this summer. Will on 6th June and Bob on 31st August.
2.2 Innings - The amount of time the cubs have to come back from a 6-9 deficit Friday night. Listening to the game and feeling optimistic.
8 minutes - Time past since the game was 6-9. A one-run game now. It was 8-0.
HOMERUN. Cubs lead 10-9. I'll end there assuming they win this game.

Mom and Krista sure were glad to see you on their visit to K3. Wish I could have seen you too.
Our new assistant priest is from Zambia. His name is Father Savior. (Seriously.) I was the lector for his first mass in Cape and was a total Yohnka saying, "you know, my cousin and his wife live in Zambia!" but he seemed to happy to know that someone here had any connection there.
